There is a lesson to learn here about the government forces .....

Go read and consider accordingly....Here

Key sentences in bold from two paragraphs....

"The violent crackdown on Occupy [which was protesting the SAME THING as the Tea Party ... and the Boston Tea Party] last fall … was not just coordinated at the level of the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, and local police. The crackdown, which involved, as you may recall, violent arrests, group disruption, canister missiles to the skulls of protesters, people held in handcuffs so tight they were injured, people held in bondage till they were forced to wet or soil themselves –was coordinated with the big banks themselves.

[A newly-released document] shows a terrifying network of coordinated DHS, FBI, police, regional fusion center, and private-sector activity so completely merged into one another that the monstrous whole is, in fact, one entity: in some cases, bearing a single name, the Domestic Security Alliance Council. And it reveals this merged entity to have one centrally planned, locally executed mission. The documents, in short, show the cops and DHS working for and with banks to target, arrest, and politically disable peaceful American citizens. …."

Remember...IFF...there will be a test

"We must show them the Black flag sir"........
(Youtube selection from the movie "God and Generals")

With the coming conflict, the words presented here by General Jackson ring true. He said that if the South losses, it would be the end of freedom at the hand of the north, he was right. Of course by 1860, the States were not united, and that fissure dated to before the Washington administration (George Washington that is).

And as if to put a fine point on the quote, we will need to take his advice this time at the upcoming "unpleasantness" .

It's time to do something like that again, if you value The Second Amendment.
President Obama has said that his push to effectively delete the Second Amendment will face "significant resistance."  It is time to show him and those in Congress how much resistance there is for any sort of additional gun bans and/or registration requirements in a peaceful and lawful manner.
Print copies of this and dispatch them to your Congresspeople, The White House, and staple them to telephone poles and other locations across the country.

How many stamps will you spend and how many pieces of paper will you staple around the country to preserve your Second Amendment rights?
If the answer is zero you've just defined their value to you.
H/t to Uwe on the forum; I can only take credit for spreading this around and supporting it, not initiating it.

Mr Denninger passes on the challenge. But for those who don't get it, here is the explanation taken from Wikipedia for4 the phrase:

"The Ancient Greek phrase μολὼν λαβέ (molṑn labé; reconstructed Ancient Greek pronunciation [mo'lɔːn la'be]; Modern Greek pronunciation [moˈlon laˈve]) means "Come and take them". It is a classical expression of defiance reportedly spoken by King Leonidas I in response to the Persian army's demand that the Spartans surrender their weapons at the Battle of Thermopylae. It is an exemplary use of a laconic phrase."

Get it now?....So what you gonna do? Bad people have bad plans.......chose.....

Identification Friend or Foe

There are a lot of stories that point to a civil war breaking out between the left and the right in this country and the attempt to ban and even confiscate guns as the match that lights the fire. I for one, do not plan on giving up my God given right to self defense, to own a firearm, any time soon. Will this lead to war, not sure on that. It didn't in California, but then California is California and that is a damning statement all by itself. Although it is why the senate jackel lady from there can even think that this is an idea she can promote.

But this is for sure, this is now a divided nation and unless the left turns back, something is bound to break. And this may very well be the straw. JD Longstreet has an article on this issue in the Canada Free Press) of all places! (linked here). Read the entire text, it is well written.

But what I found as a lesson was in the comments. Try this one from someone named Kieth:

"When this revolution comes, who are you planning to shoot? Seriously. Tell me who you kill to get your "freedom." You going to shoot "the media"? What, like your local Action Six news anchor? The 0.1%? You've never seen or met or been in the same room as a single one of them. Where are you planning to find them? You're going to track down the Waltons with the glock you just bought? The government? You can't shoot "the government." You have to pick a human being. You going after your city police? The lady at the DMV? Your mailman? No? So are you going to shoot the army? The same people you call "our brave men and women in uniform," and "real American heroes"? The ones you sing country songs to and slap yellow ribbons on your SUV for?
This is some of the dumbest s*** I've ever heard."

Well, here we have a few points and the first one is a message I have seen in a number of places. If and when the range goes hot, what will be the result on the other side? When we told King george to get out, we had a plan on the local level. Each colony drafted constitutions and had elected state and local government structures. When the southern states bid the US faewell, there were state governments and a Confederate government in place to carry on. Currently, the US has the firld and the state goivernments are neutered minions. Unfortunally, there is a lack of solid education in the understanding of rights and freedom most everywhere. Is this a reqason to fold the tent...no. But it is a part of the process we need to plan for both during and after the conflict. Regardless if it a hot conflict or a cold conflict.

The second point is taken from a story I read that described most of the power welded by the NAZI and Soviet secret police was largely through the use of dupes and average people who they used against fellow citizens. Either through fear or bribe, by force or by appealing to baser instincts. It was neighbors, "friends" and family members who turned people over to the government, many times for reasons that were unfounded or for vengence, not anti-government activities.

The third is a reflection on the first step on the range for every rifle competition I participate in before the fire command...... identify the targets, normally clay pigeons or square tiles, but in this context... identify friend or foe. There are several different groups active in this country and in your area right now. There are those who are solidly on the right, friends. Then there is the other side, the left or foe. Then there is at least two middle subgroups, one is aware, just not willing to commit either way. The other and final group is hopelessly clueless. They will get wacked and wonder where it all came from, I think they are mostly college kids!

Basically we need to think global, but act local. Go and read Matthew Bracken's discussion of the CW2-Cube ((link here). And even though Kevin may not be aware, that acting local process is occurring. From rallies that are public, to people individually just getting out of the system as far as they can. They are working with friends and neighbors to either avert this crisis or prepare for it.

Now is the time to begin to know who our friends are. It is time to apply IFF to our local areas. Who will stand with you if they try to confiscate firearms. Who knows you have them? Who will report on your range time with that illegal 30 round magazine and "black rifle".  Who is uber-american, fails to see the evil in this government and will be a loyal stooge and inform on your family storing food? . Will your local police force be your rescue or hunt you down. Your doctor, will he just fall in with the federal information gathering on you or will he help you "off line". Will your employer use your politics as an excuse to reduce his overhead?

Now is the time to do your identification. If the range goes hot, it is a bad time to have to be wondering. IFF, job one before any match. There will be a test........

Mr Russell Longacre over at DumpDC has a great post on americans and their fixation on the american government, in spite of the fact the americans are treated like servants and cannon fodder by that very same government. The entire article is linked here. Key phrase...

"It can be said without refutation that the greatest majority of Americans are government addicts. Over 40% of the population is now receiving government food stamp subsidies. In some states, more than 50% of the citizens receive some government benefit. Americans obediently trot down the polling places by the tens of millions to vote in elections, the outcomes of which have already been decided. Americans reject the Constitution in everyday practice, give it lip service, they revere the flag, worship the military, and simper when their children are killed or maimed in military action. The churches en masse actively promote the State through their adoption of corporate status and tax exemption (subsidy), as well as how the pastoral leadership assures the congregations that government service is honorable. The only Pastor I know that actively preaches an anti-State message is Rev. Chuck Baldwin in Montana."

Ever sat in church while the pastor extols the heroism and bravery of the men and women fighting for freedom in the sand box. Bull ****, they are fighting as paid mercenaries for Islamic governments in a proxy war we have no  real economic, social, or even moral stake or interest in. Yes, they commit their lives to a cause, and that is a huge commitment. But they are not protecting our freedom. And meanwhile the government engages in domestic surveillance, claims the power to arrest and persecute citizens outside any Constitutional protection. Will confiscate your property, even destroy your family at will. And americans submit as children or as servants.

Go and read his entire text. Consider the other key concept he brings to the table, secession in 12 steps, as follows:

1. We admitted we were powerless over Washington, and their actions had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves…SECESSION… could restore us to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to NO ONE, and to begin thinking for ourselves and acting on our own best interests.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves.
5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of the wrongs of Washington and our complicity in those acts.
6. Were entirely ready to alter our thoughts about liberty and our actions that were based in wrong thoughts and beliefs about democracy and the Constitutional Republic that resulted in our defects of character.
7. Humbly worked every day to remove our shortcomings.
8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed through our government addiction and complicity with DC, and became willing to spread the good word of Secession to them all.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would make us unwitting victims of government once again.
10. Continued to take personal inventory, and when we were wrong, promptly admitted it.
11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve the quality of our consciousness and our contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge, wisdom and understanding and the power to carry that out in a new nation borne of secession.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to as many government addicts as would listen, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.

It is long past time we reassert our personal and local sovereignty.

Public School, time to change the paradigm.

Well, Christmas is over and we are in the "tween time", the time between Christmas and New Year. An article I have read has given me some thoughts for the morning. Interestingly it ties together a theme that connects to the tragedy in Connecticut to recent events in China, Germany and even right here in Virginia. Public School.

This is a linked article from the blog site American Thinker (The case against public education ) that has motivated my rant thoughts for this post. Please go read it all, but what I feel is a key point is,

"Allow me to emphasize this last point, as I believe it may hold within it the strongest positive case for the abolition of any public educational model, in favor of the theoretically infinite (but practically self-limiting) models possible in a "private" educational world, by which I mean one in which most or all education of children is chosen and planned at the family level, whether directly (as in homeschooling), indirectly (as through church-based or other privately-managed schools), or through some combination of these."

It is a topic that also impacts my continuing thoughts on government, governing, property rights and freedom.

My wife and I and our brothers and sisters are all the products of public school, albeit from a time long before now! I still remember our Virginia history books and how they extolled the virtue of Virginia, and, of course, the United States. It was a time when there was a sense of discipline and we knew there would always be winners and losers. And more often than not, Mom and/or Dad where interested in and part of the education process.

But  it was also during the 60s and as I got out and looked back, times were a changing. Political correctness set in, students who had miserable grades were given  authority for no reason other than the color of there skin. The books we used were replaced by politically correct books. Teachers, who used to work with parents, were now more often acting without parental interaction. More families were raising "latch-key" kids with both parents working. Schools and school activities became critical for keeping kids busy and out of "trouble". Interestingly, there was a rise in students who had to be medicated so they would "learn" or at least be still (the actual point of the drugs). I have watched as parents dealt with teachers who, failing to interest a child, determined that drugs were needed. Personally knowing some of these children, I knew the issue was simple, they were smarter than the others due to mainstreaming of classes rather than segregating students by achievemts, the children were simply bored. Often changes in the teacher to one who had the skill to teach different children at different levels demonstrated the correctness of the solution, i.e. motivation not medication. Government run, propaganda driven, factory based schooling was and has kicked into high gear.

Before Christmas, I saw stories about students being upset over "the government" reducing what they got at lunch. They did not get "enough" and so they protested. Putting aside the sad fact that some bean counter in DC can tell a school in Backwoods, Anystate what to serve, my thought was how stupid to protest. Just bring your own lunch, like I did. Then you can eat whatever you want. And if your crafty, you could even do some trading for other goods and services. Or better yet, starve the monkey and switch to a  home school paradigm.

In Germany, it is illegal to home school. The state has the sole franchise by law. This flys in the face of all my thoughts on freedom and the responsibility of the family. I have read a number of stories about a family who fled Germany to home school and then for some reason returned hoping to stay under the radar. They have had the government threaten to take the children from them if they try to home school.

Recently in China there was an attack by a man with a knife and another attack on a school by a man with a vehicle. Children were the targets and victims in both attacks. Again, here we have parents shipping students off to government run, propaganda driven, factory based schooling. These children are not there for there safety, they are there for being schooled to be good citizens for the state. Cannon fodder.

The NRA has suggested we arm schools with armed guards. so rather than a mythical  "gun free zone", we are asking to have a militarized government run, propaganda driven, factory based school. Sorry, while I will give the NRA credit for borrowing balls for the moment, I think this is a very bad idea. I would rather the parents demand to be a part of the educational system, evaluate what we are doing with all these medicated kids, and allow teachers to be armed before we make the school into a military camp.

As for the results of our current system, one need look no further than the Occupy movement. Hundreds of young people who have so little common sense and such bent concepts of simple economic principles. And they are so bereft of any historical context. Unfortunately, these people represent the future, if for no their reason on their age.

So of what does this have to do with personal property, taxes and freedom. Not a difficult question, we each pay a property tax which in large measure funds the local school system. Through that we fund countless political left propaganda programs. Our property is confiscated for the benefit of another and many of us are given no ability to impact or direct how our property is used. As a result, it is used against us in a larger sense by buying the government propaganda and teaching a liberal bias world view. It is used to create more government zombies, it created the voting mess that resulted in November and so many Novembers before. As Forrest would say, "stupid is as stupid does".

But we must first start with who "owns" our children. I suggest that parents are the prime responsible agent until the age of majority. Lets use age 18 for that. Parents have brought child into the world and thus own that responsibility, not the state. It was the NAZIs that used women as child factories. When born, children were the property of the state for the use and disposal of the state. If I understand, that is the current system in North Korea as well. But that violates natural law, all offspring are born to parents who are given the natural role of bringing that child up to self sufficiency.

So, does the state, who does not have the moral ownership of a child, have the moral right to take property, i.e. taxes, to educate a child. NO, there is no moral obligation or natural connection. The responsibility is fully in the sphere and natural obligation of the parents. Of course, parents may in turn band together and form schools. They may be home based schools, they may be private schools, ecumenical schools, they may even be open to the larger public as a commercial venture,  but they have no moral authority to demand those without children or without current school age children participate in funding the program.

Public school is failing to create bold and thinking young folks. It is funding a class of sociology and physiologists in medicating people with drugs that alter reality and create violence. It is requiring parents surrender sovereignty and control of children to a system not based on family values. It is creating selectively ignorant cannon fodder for the next civil war.

It is time to de-fund public school. The government is not required. It is reasonable to require children be educated. It is a simple matter to allow for private and commercial school ventures. It is a simple matter to define a base level of education in reading, English, and math.  It is a simple matter to establish a line of gradual certifications through testing on a commercial basis.

I suggest we simply require that parents guarantee that children be educated up to the 12th grade. Failure to preform that will result in their child being behind, a fate most parents fear. (There are those who will say children will not get educated. So your telling me that the current system is doing that 100% now.....not really. From the backwoods of West Virginia to the inner city, children are marking time and getting little in return now.)  Parents will then have all the choices that there are to succeed without the government being the headmaster.  It will also have the added benefit of beginning to reconnect the family as a foundational system of community. Time to shift the paradigm.

It is Christmas 2012. I am blessed by God in more ways than I can count. I have no idea what 2013 will bring. I am trusting by my faith in God and my family for the future as I try to plan and prepare. In the meantime, let us all take time to celebrate the birth of Christ, who came to earth as a child to bring us the good news of love, salvation and redemption, and then died that we might live. It is only in faith in God that this world makes any sense. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night....

I visited my local gun show this morning and made a couple of observations....

ammo wqs going pretty fast, often in quantity...
    black guns were everywhere ....
prices were up, but I have gotten used to that actually, shows do not have cheap products....
but what caught my attention was that there was not an M1A in any form anywhere to be seen......

Now don't get me wrong, I like the AR platform, and they certainly have the "image", but for reaching out just a bit further, the M1/M1A is a lot more useful....

I know they are not being made in the numbers as AR/M4 type weapons. But I know they are out there. So are they just not being sold by those that have them or are they being nosed out by the over abundance or induced demand for the black rifles?

Now that I think about it, there were not a lot of AK frame weapons either. Not a big loss there....I am not an AK fan. I just don't find them comfortable to shoot. They don't seem to fit my arm/shoulder configuration I guess.

One final stop on the way home by the local gun store, business was rockin......no room to park, guns and ammo on the move.......

Calling Andrew Cuomo....we saw your flag and got your message, feelin froggy?

Workin on text for a letter to congress critters here and DC ...figured i would post it here for suggestions. Keep in mind, I have no illusions that my prose will sway the masses or even the moderate statist. but at this point, I have three options....shut up and watch, write, call and or march.....or well we will leave the third option unsaid. I can not be held accountable for what I don't say can I! Since I am real bad at being silent.....this is my chosen action.....and so here goes. Feel free to feed back, I reserve the right to monitor/not publish comments, it is after all my blog:

Dear Congressman,

We are all to familiar with the tragedy in Connecticut. Since that day, there has been a rash of emotion and a lack of common sense.

In spite of the progressive media, I urge you to stand with me and millions of gun owners and protect the right to own and bear arms. And that includes all types of weapons, regardless of there cosmetic features, caliber, or magazine size.

Newtown, where all the laws in the world didn't matter and wouldn't have.  Even when he was denied a firearm because of the back ground check system, he still acquired a firearms through murder and theft. He then committed a break and entry to gain access. He followed that with assault with a deadly weapon and then even more murder.  Had there been a ban on the number of rounds in any weapon, he still had more than one stolen firearm, so that would have been a waste of ink as well.

Theft, assault, murder are all illegal and the crimes of a madman. Had he not had firearms, his madness would have still been intact, still a force to be expressed. He was intent on killing and so he determined there would be death. No law would have an impact. He could have used bladed weapons as was used in China recently, fire/explosives as used in the largest school killing in america or in Oklahoma several years ago, or perhaps just a stolen vehicle.

Making more laws is not the answer and restricting firearms to people who chose to own them for protection is just as criminal. Creating defenseless places and not allowing people to defend themselves is no less than putting innocents into a firing squad. Firearms are part of real life. Even in the nations with strict restrictions, they exist illegally in great numbers. Gun free zones are a myth.

Regarding the the noise about assault weapons. That is a list of cosmetic features. The use of the term assault weapon is used to give some false premise of evil to an inanimate object. There is no functional difference in these weapons. They neither fire faster or fire a more lethal round than many “sporting” rifles or shotguns. Would it have been better if the children were killed with a long barrel 12 gauge shotgun? Of course not. In fact, had the weapon been a shotgun, the results would have been more gruesome and in Aurora, more extensive.

Yet, the effect of limiting assult rifles if it were to be successful (and I doubt it would be) could have just that impact. Steal the ole’ man’s shotgun, cut it off and bingo...the madman or criminal has a short lethal weapon. Illegal, yes of course. The BATF has all kinds of regulations to make that a crime. But what’s the point when it is only another crime in the middle of so many others!
But honestly, with the ATF/FBI supplying military grade weapons to evry terrorist/narco-gang in the world, the chance of forearms becoming the next illegal Mexican re-import is just a matter of time.

So lets address high capacity magazines. The fact that there are more than one, or ten, or any number is a red herring. Limit the size of mags and the criminals will simply carry more magazines all of which are made to rapidly exchange. Or perhaps more weapons which has been true in both Newtown and Aurora recently. And again, if the crime is murder, do you think the black market will not supply any number of high capacity mags. They are not that difficult to manufacture. For heavens sake, the narco gangs build submarines! Magazines and even guns are a snap if there is a market. On the other hand, more rounds makes it easier for defense as well as offense. The equalizer effect.

As for what americans really think, you need look no farther than WalMart. The sales of firearms there and throughout the continent are off the charts. People want to be able to defend themselves. People will defend themselves.  They are voting on this issue with there actions. They are spending what limited resources there are in this economically difficult time on firearms and ammo.

The government does not have the moral authority to tell me or anyone how to defend or not defend my self or my family. Most especially when that same government is trading with and up-arming the very gangs that roam our streets. It is an ironic fact that the forces who want this nation disarmed are the vary nations we are at economic or virtual war with, Mexico, Russia, China, Iran, Europe. Equally ironic that what we fought wars over in the 20th century was our way of life which included the right of armed self defense.  All of those countries disallowed their citizens firearms. So,, who do you side with, our past and current enemies or loyal americans who are now arming themselves now.

So, summary; I will not be disarmed, I and my family will not be left defenseless, we will retain our birthright. I urge you to stand with me, my family and millions of others....protect the nations birthright to armed individual self defense, at all costs.

Self Defense, Property Rights and natural law

Self Defense, Property Rights and natural law

( I had planned to discuss from the perspective of taxes, but in light of the current news....this made more sense)

Today, lets look at the reality of property, what we own, and how that is impacted by natural law.

First a short historical news round up.....from London England, August 2011. England....from Reuters (article link) we get this piece of news:

"From shopkeepers and middle-class writers to Sikh communities and right-wing soccer "fans," Londoners are ready to take action to protect their homes and businesses from rioting.
After four nights of violence, many are saying enough is enough and they will stop the looters themselves if the authorities cannot."

or how abuout this little piece from the Daily News  ( article link )  as a result of Hurricane Sandy going through Queens, New York:

"Queens residents arm themselves in the post-storm blackout from looters; Residents feel isolated and some use guns, baseball bats, booby traps — even a bow and arrow — to defend themselves."

And of course, our poster child above, the Korean shopkeepers who stood on the roof top defending themselves and their property in the Los Angles riots in 1992.

What all these have in common is simple; people protecting themselves, their families, and their property in spite of any government attempt to prevent them. This is natural law in effect. As we know, England has gone down the firearm rabbit hole and will not recover short of a massive civil war. For all practical purposes, Kalifornia has gone the same way......New York not only tells people not to defend themselves at every turn, but Bloomberg even held out National Guard troops becuse they had guns of all things. (But in Bloomberg's defense, he was protecting his turf, he has an army (NYPD) and why would any self respecting warlord allow some other army into his fiefdom).

But the fact of the matter is this. Regardless of what you may or may not believe, we own ourselves. We also own the fruits of our labors. And through our work and labor, we own property. Or at least we want to believe we do. And people want to protect what they own.

Ever see what a renter does to a house. Ever watched as public housing goes to seed due to lack of care by the residents who have no stake in its ownership or upkeep. People don't care about what they don't own.

That is what the Declaration of Independence was about. It was a bold statement that men (and women) were and are free and equal in God's eyes. That we were created as owners of our selves and what we produced. Not that we are equal, after all some are smarter, larger, smaller, faster, etc.; but we all are equal in that we have the same chance at life, liberty, and the pursuit of our own happiness through our ownership of ourselves and our lives.

But it is government that fails to understand that and it is progressives that seek to use government to cover their own weaknesses through power. Power that destroys people and property. It is government that seeks to enslave people to consolidate its own power. It is government that tries to violate natural laws, the laws that God, or if you prefer, the Creator, instilled in us. The world has allowed government to become the faux creator. progressives have sold an idea that is un-natural.

It is this principle of property that must be next in the canon for renewal.

There can be no law that violates the right of a person to own him or herself. To own, sell, or dispose of what he creates. To trade openly for the goods and services. To be able to acquire and protect property as we see fit.

And to get taxation in here, not be required to pay a duty to own or create or forced to create/pay for others who fail to do so. To take from one to give to another is no more than theft, even if done by government and called a tax, fee, or contribution. To own property that has a property tax is no more than an annual lease on something from the government. because if you fail to pay the levy, the government will fine you, arrest you, even kill you if you resist.

The only limit is that what we do, own, or create can not limit or decrease the rights and lives of those around us. We have the right to manufacture a weapon, we do not have the right to kill people with it (outside self defense) for example.I may build my factory and use the resources I can purchase, but I may not destroy the water or air around me that flows to my neighbors.

What is amazing is that when I went to high school, we had not one, but several of these fine battle tested rifles which had no doubt been used to assault the Axis forces and/or Japanese in WWII in our classroom stores. We had a bunch of .22 as well. And yes...we actually shot the .22's. (We used the Springfields for drill).  I even brought a rifle with bayonet and live ammo to school as props for a speech in a class! No one thought a thing of it.

At any time we could reach them. Oddly, no one died and not one person found time to gun down a class room of students. Oh yeah, ammo was easy to get and we could get bayonets too. So what has changed. Same technology, same opportunity, all kids, good and bad.........

Differences.......our families were closer, kids were not medicated with powerful mind altering chemicals as a rule of thumb, we had TV shows like "Ed Sullivan" and "Gilligan's Island", and church was still a force to be attended. In a word, we were a civil society with a better grip on right and wrong. Don't blame the guns.....blame the loss of civility and who we were as a people.

In Video 8, Ann concludes her presentation with a warning and with some advice She asks a question for each of those who have seen the series.....bottom line, prepare for some very hard times ahead....it may not be an actual bomb, but it may feel like one. (thanks to Dr Strangelove for the visual)

Parts 6 and 7, Ann looks some of the "why" and "who" behind the bank and market shenanigans. Ever wonder what the talking news heads are talking about when they talk about bank "repros" and "credit default swaps" Ever wonder what has all that got to do with where we are today.....to big to fail and so forth.

It is important to understand that no event or process in life stands alone. For example the South did not just up and decide to start leaving the Union in 1860......it was a long trail of legislative, economic, and political problems that began before we even finished the war with England.....So listen as she adds context to the news we hear each day now....see the present through the past.......

And to continue the conversation, so you think your money in the bank is fully  insured! Just to set the tone, this photo is of our own John McCain, one of those upstanding Republicans who, in this case, was also part of the Keating Five and the Savings and Loan scandal. This is the measure of the people who are "looking out for us".  These people will sell everything down the river to  advance themselves. As Ann will continue to explain in parts 3 and 4 (a twofer for tonight)..........

This post is a redirect to the first in a series of  eight videos produced and placed in You Tube by Ann Barnhardt (photo above) who works in the financial market, specializing in cattle and commodity trades  (her site is located at Barnhardt.biz). I understand she felt she could no longer trust the larger financial system in this country and could not protect her clients so she she left the business of actually trading shortly after the financial devastation created by the MF Global collapse and the legal impact it had on financial businesses.  In this series she lays out her research. Watch all 8 videos, at  the very least, they will make you pause. A major high point, listen as she defines "money" as it applies to person hood, to our very humanity.....it is a critical point lost in today's "printamatic" paper money world. I will post links to the rest in the coming days...or you can go to her site and see them all at your convenience

From Russel Longcore, the author of blog site DumpDC we have the reality of the Republican Party. A party devoid of core principles and currently in a melt down condition. The leadership could not surrender fast enough on the budget. A key note from Mr. Longcore:

"The Republicans are much like the Democrats, except for a set of core beliefs. Both sides value money and power over everything else. But the Dems are committed ideologues. You’ll notice that almost always when the two parties have to compromise on some issue, it is the Republicans who do the compromising. And since Mitt Romney did not win the White House, President Obama has been very successful in setting the terms of all discussions."

We know the democrat core belief is the same as every statist, big powerful government that controls life to the very core (think marxists, communism, fascism or NAZIs ....all statists). Perhaps this will be the end of the spineless deflated dead elephant party spawned in the era of Lincoln and the birth of a new organization based on property rights and true freedom......

Welcome to my blog site. I plan to use this site to explore subjects that interest me and I hope you as well. At this point, I have no idea where this journey may take us. I expect to have comments on politics, current events, history, and life in the country. I don't know what the frequency will be of posting, I expect some days to be pretty busy and others pretty quiet, but we shall see. In addition, as we go forward, I invite my readers to post comments and observations. But if the comment string gets out of hand, rude, or just not useful, then don't expect to be retained as a part of the conversation. It is December 4, 2012, we start this with the opening of the new year.......lets see where we go shall we.
